Supported Applications

The Omega CDH5021 Series comprises economical handheld test kits designed for measuring pH, ORP (Oxidation-Reduction Potential), Conductivity, and TDS in sample solutions. These units are intended for general liquid analysis tasks where portable measurement is required.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C. Measurement capabilities vary by model, covering specific ranges and resolutions:

• pH Range: 0 to 14.0 pH with a resolution of 0.02 pH.
• ORP Range: ±999 mV with a resolution of 1 mV.
• Conductivity Ranges: 10 to 9990 μS/cm (resolution: 10 μS/m) and 0 to 999 μS/cm (resolution: 1 μS/m).
• TDS Range: 10 to 9990 ppm with a resolution of 10 ppm.

Accuracy specifications are defined per measurement type as ±0.01 pH @ 25°C for the PHH-5012, and ±1%FS or ±5%FS depending on the specific model and range. The telescoping electrode extends to an insertion length of 80 mm (3.1").

Configuration Options

The CDH5021 Series includes multiple models configured for distinct measurement parameters, each supplied with a carrying case, battery, calibration solution (where applicable), and instructions.

• CDH-5021: Conductivity meter (High range).
• CDH-5022: Conductivity meter (Low range).
• TDH-5031: TDS tester.
• PHH-5012: pH tester with ATC capability.
• ORP-5041: ORP meter without ATC.

All models feature an LCD display and a telescoping electrode. The physical dimensions for the meters are 152 x 40 x 34 mm (6 x 1.6 x 1.3"). Each kit includes a carrying case measuring 165 x 100 x 40 mm (6.5 x 3.9 x 1.6") and weighs approximately 120 g (4.2 oz) with battery.

Key Product Differences

Differences between models are defined by their measurement type, range, resolution, accuracy, power requirements, and ATC availability:

• pH Model (PHH-5012): Features Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) from 0 to 50°C. Requires three 1.55V batteries.
• Conductivity Models (CDH-5021, CDH-5022): Both include ATC (0 to 50°C). The CDH-5021 covers the higher conductivity range (10 to 9990 μS/cm), while the CDH-5022 covers the lower range (0 to 999 μS/cm).
• TDS Model (TDH-5031): Includes ATC and measures TDS in ppm.
• ORP Model (ORP-5041): Does not include ATC. Accuracy is specified as ±5%FS.

All models except the PHH-5012 operate on a single 9V battery. Replacement batteries are available: MN1604 for 9V units and PH-BATT-3 (requires three) for the pH model.
