The PRG200 Series is a high precision multi-stage regulator, which provides the highest level of regulation accuracy and repeatability available. A stainless steel measuring capsule is used as a sensing element to activate the high gain servo balanced control mechanism in which the main valve is controlled by a pilot valve. This allows for greater accuracy and eliminates many of the problems associated with conventional regulators using range springs and diaphragms.

Great product as advertised
Heavy duty; mounting bracket recommended. Can orient in either direction by choosing which side for your gauge. Comes with two plugs. Seems to be straight thread, not tapered NPT. Keeps flow nice and steady for sensitive air analyzer (I'm stepping down from 60 to 33psi with the 60psi model; could have used the 40psi model comfortably). Minimal backpressure buildup when analyzer is off.

Very smooth, precise operation
We bought two of these several weeks ago after longstanding frustration with hysteresis and lack of responsiveness of other products. We have been very happy with the performance--the actuation is smooth, the pressures adjustable to a very fine degree, and the outcome is a very steady flow.
