The Omega TWA Series Tank Weighing Assembly is designed for tank and bin weighing systems in industrial applications. The series provides complete environmental protection, shock absorption, and side force protection to support accurate mass measurement of vessels.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The TWA3 assembly supports weight capacities from 50 lb to 250 lb (TWA3-050 through TWA3-250). The broader series envelope, including the TWA4 configuration, extends capacity up to 2500 lb. Each unit features a neoprene isolation mount that provides shock absorption and protects against side forces.

Configuration Options

The series is configured by weight capacity and includes specific load cell models for each assembly size. The TWA3 family pairs with LCDA Series load cells, while the higher-capacity TWA4 family utilizes LCJA Series load cells.

• TWA3 Assemblies: Available in 50 lb (TWA3-050), 75 lb (TWA3-075), 100 lb (TWA3-100), 150 lb (TWA3-150), and 250 lb (TWA3-250) capacities.
• TWA4 Assemblies: Available in 500 lb, 1000 lb, 2000 lb, and 2500 lb capacities to extend the series range up to 2500 lb.

The assembly includes a neoprene mount, base plate (metal), spacers, socket cap screws, washers, lockwashers, and a locknut. Electrical connectivity is provided via a 4-conductor shielded and jacketed cable with a length of 6 m (20'). The TWA3 unit dimensions include an overall height of 76.2 mm (3.00 in) and a neoprene mount size of 82.6 x 102 mm (3.25 x 4.00 in).

• TWA3: Designed for capacities up to 250 lb; utilizes LCDA-50 through LCDA-250 replacement load cells.
• TWA4: Designed for capacities from 500 lb to 2500 lb; utilizes LCJA-500, LCJA-1K, LCJA-2K, and LCJA-2.5K replacement load cells.

The neoprene mount color varies by capacity: Blue (50 lb), Black (75 lb), Red (100 lb), Green (150 lb), and Gray (250 lb) for the TWA3 series.
