- Precision litho-printed scale is accurate and easy to read.
- Red tipped pointer of heat treated aluminum tubing is easy to see. It is rigidly mounted on the helix shaft.
- Pointer stops of molded rubber prevent pointer over-travel without damage.
- "Wishbone" assembly provides mounting for helix, helix bearings and pointer shaft.
- Jeweled bearings are shock-resistant mounted; provide virtually friction-free motion for helix. Motion damped with high viscosity silicone fluid.
- Zero adjustment screw is conveniently located in the plastic cover, and is accessible without removing the cover. O-ring seal provides pressure tightness.
- Helix is precision made from an alloy of high magnetic permeability. Mounted in jeweled bearings, it turns freely, following the magnetic field to move the pointer across the scale.
- Calibrated range spring is flat spring steel. Small amplitude of motion assures consistency and long life. It reacts to pressure on diaphragm. Live length adjustable for calibration.
- Silicone rubber diaphragm with integrally molded O-ring is supported by front and rear plates. It is locked and sealed in position with a sealing plate and retaining ring. Diaphragm motion is restricted to prevent damage due to overpressures.
- Die cast aluminum case is precision made and iridite-dipped to withstand 168 hour salt spray corrosion test. Exterior finished in baked dark gray hammerloid. One case size is used for all standard pressure options, and for both surface and flush mounting.
- O-ring seal for cover assures pressure integrity of case.
- Samarium Cobalt magnet mounted at one end of range spring rotates helix without mechanical linkages.

Select the Series 2000 Magnehelic® Gage for a versatile low differential pressure gage with a wide choice of 81 models and 27 options to choose from. Using Dwyer’s simple, frictionless Magnehelic® gage movement, it quickly indicates air or noncorrosive gas pressures--either positive, negative (vacuum) or differential. The design resists shock, vibration, over-pressures and is weatherproof to IP67.
Note: May be used with Hydrogen. Order a Buna-N diaphragm. Pressures must be less than 35 psi.

Is the Dwyer 2015-buna-1C safe to use with natural gas? This will be left unmonitored to video capture gas pressure fluctuations.

Did we get factory calibration certificate along with product ?

It does not come with the unit as a standard.
To add a factory calibration, add -FC to the end the model number. To add a NIST calibration, add a -NIST to the end of the model number.

Does the Series 2000 come with a standard mounting bracket, or do we have to purchase it separately?
The Magnehelic does not come with a mounting bracket; however, it does come with mounting screws and lugs that can be used to surface mount or flush mount the unit.

what is Capsuhelic® Gauges as Opposed to the MAGNEHELIC® Gauges?

The main differences between the two is that the Capsuhelic can be used for water (the Magnehelic cannot) and the Capsuhelic has a higher overall pressure rating.

What should the magnehelic gauge read for a negative pressure room in a hospital. Is there any calibration or maintenance that needs to be done
Negative pressure rooms are type of hospital rooms that keeps patients with infectious illnesses, or patients who are susceptible to infections from others, away from other patients. Due to the nature of this request we cannot provide you the data on what the gauge should read.
However if you provide us with the pressure range, we can help you select an appropriate unit.
