Supported Applications
The Omega SRT Series consists of OMEGALUX® silicone rubber extruded heating tapes designed for temperature maintenance in applications requiring moisture and chemical resistance. These low-watt density electrical resistance heaters are constructed with finely stranded resistance wires fully insulated with braided fiberglass, knitted into a flat tape with fiberglass yarn, and encapsulated in a void-free silicone rubber sheath.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The SRT Series is rated for a maximum exposure temperature of 450°F (232°C). The series operates at a nominal watt density of 4.3 W/in² (0.007 mm) and features a dielectric strength in excess of 2000V. Standard configurations utilize 16 AWG high-temperature 600V silicone rubber insulated lead wires emerging from opposite ends into an integrally molded separable plug.
Key performance parameters include:
- Maximum Exposure Temperature: Up to 230°C (450°F)
- Nominal Watts per Square Inch: 4.3 W/in²
- Dielectric Strength: In excess of 2000V
- Media Compatibility: Moisture and Chemical Resistant
Configuration Options
The series offers a broad range of configurations defined by width, length, voltage, and lead exit orientation. Standard models are available in widths corresponding to ½ inch (1 cm), 1 inch (2.5 cm), and 2 inches (5 cm). Lengths vary from 0.6 m (2 ft) up to 6.1 m (20 ft).
Available options include:
- Voltage Options: Standard models are supplied at 120 V; a 240V version is available by changing the digit preceding the hyphen in the model number from "1" to "2." All 240V versions are supplied without plugs.
- Lead Configuration: Heaters with power leads exiting the same end of the tape are ordered by adding the suffix "LSE" to the model number (e.g., SRT051-060LSE).
- Plug Availability: Standard 120V models include an integrally molded separable plug. Models marked with an asterisk in ordering tables do not come with a plug.
Key Product Differences
The SRT Series model numbering follows the format SRT<series>-<model_number>, where the series digits indicate width and length. For example, models beginning with "05" denote ½ inch (1 cm) widths, while those starting with "10" or "20" correspond to wider tapes.
Specific variations include:
- SRT05x Series: ½ inch (1 cm) width options ranging from 2 ft to 12 ft lengths at 120V and 240V.
- SRT10x Series: 1 inch (2.5 cm) width options with power ratings up to 1045 Watts for the longest standard configurations.
- SRT20x Series: 2 inch (5 cm) width options, offering higher total wattage outputs such as 2090 Watts at 120V for a 6.1 m length.

Strip Heater
This is a great product easy to wrap around objects you wish to heat up, and the split plug is the real reason my men like using it.

Performed as described. This silicone heating tape is much easier to handle than the fiber versions.

Can you tell me how to choose for "Lead wire exit direction" and "Termination"? Thank you.
Thank you for your inquiry! The "Lead wire exit direction" specifies where you would like the two leads to emerge from the heater - either both leads on the same side, or one on each end. The "termination" specifies the type of connection style, either stripped lead (bare) wires or a two prong connector for connection to AC mains outlet.

Silicone Rubber Heater Tape have any right side to use?? can I use in both sides of the tape to heat
Thank you for your inquiry Christian. The heater tape can be used on either side. Just make sure you don't overlap the heater over itself for proper operation.
