Met specifications
Pursued copper wire as closest option to model HO scale fence line. May be too fragile to use and tend to curl!!

Normal high standard.
There is nothing new with this order. There was the same high standard of service and product that I have received with hundreds of orders over 50 years.

How best to connect a fine gauge K-type thermocouple wire (say 40 AWG) to a DAQ box which has a screw pressure contact. Is there a crimp you recommend
Asked by: Anonymous
It is best to call our engineers to review possible options.

I want to use J thermocouple wire without a probe (by twisting the ends of the stripped wires together) to measure the temperature of a curing polyurethane elastomer. I have been told that method is not valid. Is it? Thanks.

Twisting the wires does create a Thermocouple junction and senses at the point were the two wires first touch each other. This is a crude way to do this and the accuracy would not be truly known and should only be used in applications that have a very loose accuracy tolerance.
