Supported Applications

The Omega SCE Console Series consists of NEMA Type 12 Single Door Operator Workstations designed for housing electronic controls and instruments. These enclosures provide protection from dirt, oil, dust, and water in industrial environments.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series meets the following enclosure ratings: NEMA Type 12 & Type 13, UL Listed Type 12, CSA Type 12, and IEC 60529 IP 55. The housing is constructed from 0.075" Carbon Steel.

Configuration Options

The SCE Console Series offers configurable dimensions across two primary models with specific sub-panel arrangements:

• SCE-924B: Height: 48.00 in (1219.2 mm), Width: 24.00 in (609.6 mm), Depth: 18.00 in (457.2 mm). Includes three SCE-30P20 sub-panels.
• SCE-936B: Height: 48.00 in (1219.2 mm), Width: 36.00 in (914.4 mm), Depth: 18.00 in (457.2 mm). Includes two SCE-30P20 sub-panels and one SCE-30P30 sub-panel.

Standard features include a sloping control panel with concealed hinge, 90° door opening, black zinc die-cast keylocking/padlocking handle, 3-point latching mechanism, continuously welded and ground smooth seams, oil-resistant gasket, interior print pocket, removable eyebolts, and a ground stud on the door.

Available options include optional back and side panels mounted on collar studs.

Key Product Differences

The primary distinction between models is width and sub-panel configuration. The SCE-924B provides a 24.00 in (609.6 mm) wide enclosure, while the SCE-936B offers a wider 36.00 in (914.4 mm) footprint to accommodate additional instrumentation space.
