Interchangeability specifications vary by model: the ON-409-PP offers ±0.1°C interchangeability from 0 to 70°C, while standard ON-909 models provide ±0.2°C over the same range. For applications requiring tighter tolerance, optional thermistors (part numbers 44030 through 44034) are available with a maximum working temperature of 75°C (165°F) and an interchangeability of ±0.1°C from 0 to 70°C.

Storage and operating conditions for best stability range from -80 to 75°C (-110 to 165°F). The sensor tip diameter varies between 0.38" and 0.44", depending on the specific model configuration.

Configuration Options

The series supports multiple resistance values at 25°C, including 2252 Ω, 3000 Ω, 5000 Ω, 10,000 Ω, and 30,000 Ω. Electrical connections are provided via a 26 AWG stranded PFA insulated and jacketed cable.

Configuration options include:

  • Cable Lengths: Standard lengths of 3 m (10') for the ON-409 series or 300 mm (12") for standard ON-909 models. A 1 m (40") option is available by adding "-40" to the model number.
  • Connectors: Models are supplied with stripped cable ends; a phone plug connector is available as an add-on option denoted by the suffix "-PP".
  • Custom Lengths: Additional cable lengths can be specified in inches by appending the required length to the model number for additional cost.

The ON-409 and ON-909 series differ primarily in tip diameter, standard cable length, and connector type. The ON-409-PP features a 0.44" tip diameter with a 3 m (10') phone plug connection. Standard ON-909 models feature a smaller 0.38" tip diameter with stripped ends.

I purchased ON-909-44004-80 to used it in my data logger to measure automotive battery temperature. I need to do scaling so i can get a proper value. Can you tell me how to do the scaling? Please note that my reading unit would be in Fahrenheit 65 to 100.
