Supported Applications

The Omega CT7000 Series consists of microprocessor-based circular chart recorders designed to measure, display, and control up to two process variables. These hybrid paper recorders are configured for applications requiring continuous data logging on a 254 mm (10") circular chart alongside digital monitoring via front-panel LED displays.

Documented measurement capabilities include temperature sensing using thermocouples or RTDs, as well as electrical signal acquisition from millivolt and current inputs. The series supports process control functions including on/off and PID control in specific model configurations.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The CT7000 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 55°C (32 to 131°F) with a humidity rating of 0 to 90% RH, non-condensing. Storage temperatures are specified from -40 to 65°C (-40 to 149°F). The unit features a gasketed cover constructed from black structural foam and weighs up to 9.1 kg (20 lb).

Performance specifications vary by input type:

  • Thermocouple Types J, K, T, E, N and RTD accuracy: ±0.25% of reading + 1° @ 25°C (77°F)
  • Type R, S, B, C Thermocouples accuracy: ±0.25% of span @ 25°C (77°F)

Can we change the resolution? I tried to change the resolution and made to 2. But when I apply 10bar, its showing 1.00bar. when I apply 1bar then 0.10bar. How can i get 0.01bar resolution in the recorder model CT711000000022

Is it possible to retrofit a model to one with analog outputs? I.e. 710200100021 to have analog output ? Or would we need to order new units.
