Steel Immersion Heater features a rugged 3-element steel construction with a 2.5-inch NPT male process connection. Designed for medium weight oil, it offers low watt density of 15 W/in² and power options from 3 to 9 kW. Equipped with a built-in thermostat available in three temperature ranges, this heater ensures efficient and reliable temperature control. The sheath diameter measures 0.475 inch.
Please Note: The integral thermostat functions as a temperature control only. This is not a fail safe device. An approved pressure and/or temperature control should be used with these heaters to assure safe operation. See the Temperature Section for our selection of control devices.
