The Omega OM-AMFS Series consists of non-metallic fiberglass free-standing enclosures designed to insulate and house electrical and electronic controls, instruments, and components. These NEMA 4X (IP66) single and double door electrical cabinets are suited for indoor or outdoor use in higher temperature environments or corrosive conditions where protection from dirt, dust, oil, and water is required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within an ambient temperature range of -370 to 130°C (-350 to 266°F). Constructed from a fiberglass reinforced polyester formulation with UV stabilization for outdoor use, the enclosures feature a UL 94 flammability rating. The one-piece body design provides dimensional stability, while a soft self-gripping gasket ensures the NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure rating.
Configuration Options
The OM-AMFS Series is available in single and double door configurations with specific dimensions for height, width, and depth. Key construction features include a continuous 304 SS hinge, a 3-point latching handle with padlocking capability, heavy-duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts, and a molded-in drip shield.
Available options and accessories documented for the series include:
- Carbon Steel Sub-Panels: OM-P7225CS (for single door enclosure) and OM-P7249CS (two included for double door enclosure).
- Print Pocket: OM-AMPRINTPOCKET with adhesive tape, measuring 238 H x 264 W x 27 mm D (9.375 x 10.375 x 1.045").
The series holds the following approvals and certifications: CSA C US, UL US, RoHS, and includes a 1 YEAR WARRANTY.
