Supported Applications

The Omega SCE-FSD Series consists of NEMA Type 3R and 12 free-standing, two-door electrical enclosures designed to house electrical and electronic controls and instruments. These units provide protection from dust, dirt, water, and oil for industrial installations.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series is constructed of 0.104" Carbon Steel with a white powder coating finish on the interior and an ANSI-61 recoatable gray exterior over phosphatized surfaces. Enclosures feature continuously welded seams, stiffeners for rigid construction, lifting eyes, and oil-resistant gaskets.

Industry standard ratings include:

• NEMA Type 3R, 12, and 13
• UL Listed Type 3R and 12
• CSA Type 3R and 12
• IEC 60529 IP 55

A drip shield is required to achieve the NEMA 3R rating.

Configuration Options

The SCE-FSD Series offers a range of dimensions and configurable features for specific installation needs. The model number format follows SCE-FSD.

Available overall dimensions span:

• Height: 60.00 to 90.00 inch
• Width: 48.00 to 72.00 inch
• Depth: 18.00 to 36.00 inch (extra deep for applications requiring more interior space)

Standard features include removable and interchangeable doors, concealed hinges, a black zinc die cast keylocking/padlocking handle with a 3-point latching mechanism, flange trough collar, removable print pocket, mounting channels, and a ground stud on the door.
