Supported Applications
The Omega NEMA Type 12 Series 14 Single Door Consoles are designed for electronic controls and instruments. These operator workstations provide heavy-duty construction to protect interior components from dirt, oil, dust, and water. Equipment can be mounted on the sloping control panel door or on stationary panels within the enclosure.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series meets specific environmental protection standards with ratings of NEMA Type 12 & Type 13, UL Listed Type 12, CSA Type 12, and IEC 60529 IP 55. The consoles are constructed from 0.104" Carbon Steel. Finishes include a white powder-coated interior for the console body and an ANSI-61 recoatable gray finish over phosphatized surfaces on the exterior. Optional top sections feature an ANSI-61 recoatable gray finish inside and outside, while optional panels are powder-coated white.
Configuration Options
The series is available in two primary widths: 24" wide models (SCE-14) and 36" wide models (SCE-1436). Configurable components include console bodies, tops, sub-panels of varying sizes, rack angles, writing desks, and swing-out panels.

Sub-Panels and Accessories
- Full Sub-Panel: Available in 42.25 H x 17.00 W for 24" models; 42.25 H x 29.00 W for 36" models.
- Half Sub-Panel: Available in 22.00 H x 17.00 W for 24" models; 22.00 H x 29.00 W for 36" models.
- Swing-Out Sub-Panel: Dimensions are 22.00 H x 18.12 W (inch) for 24" models and 22.00 H x 30.12 W (inch) for 36" models.
- Rack Angles: A set of 2 rack angles is available at 29.00 H (inch).
- Writing Desk: Available in 24.00 H x 10.00 W for 24" models; 36.00 H x 10.00 W for 36" models.
