Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series DCT1000DC Dust Collector Timer Controller is designed for on-demand or continuous cleaning applications with pulse-jet type dust collectors. The modular design simplifies low voltage control requirements by eliminating the need for external pressure switches, relays, and timers. When configured with optional DCP100A/200A pressure modules, the system supports differential process pressure monitoring to trigger on-demand cleaning cycles.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The controller operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 140°F (-40 to 60°C) and is rated for storage temperatures from -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C). Timing performance includes On Time settings adjustable from 10 msec to 600 msec in 10 msec steps with an accuracy of ±10 ms. Off Time ranges from 1 second to 255 seconds in 1-second steps, maintaining an accuracy of ±1% of the value or ±50 msec, whichever is greater.

For systems utilizing the optional DCP pressure modules, differential pressure measurement ranges are available at 10" w.c. [2.49 kPa] and 20" w.c. [4.98 kPa]. The module accuracy is ±1.5% F.S. @ 73°F (22.8°C). Pressure limits for the DCP modules are rated at 10 psi (68.95 kPa) absolute and 10 psi (68.95 kPa) differential.

Configuration Options

The series offers configurable channel counts of 6, 10, or 22 output channels within a single board size footprint. The controller supports expansion to 255 channels via daisy-chaining using Model DCA jumper cables.

• Power Supply: 10-30 VDC input; internal 24 VDC available for powering the pressure module loop or external supply options (15 to 35 VDC).
• Solenoid Output: Up to 3 A maximum per channel with a 3A @ 250 VAC fuse.
• Housing Options: Standard NEMA 4/4X weatherproof enclosure; explosion-proof housing available via the -EXPL suffix. Weatherproof housings are offered as standalone (-WP), with pressure ports (-WPP), or with a three-position rotary switch installed (-WPPS).
• Pressure Module Integration: Optional DCP100A (10" w.c.) and DCP200A (20" w.c.) modules provide isolated 4-20 mA readout channels. Process connections utilize two barbed fittings for 1/8" (3.18 mm) or 3/16" (4.76 mm) I.D. tubing.
• Alarm Contacts: The pressure module includes alarm contacts rated at 1.5A inductive load, 3A resistive load @ 30 VAC or 40 VDC.

Key Product Differences

The Series DCT1000DC is distinguished by its modular architecture and channel configuration options. The master controller models are designated as DCT1006DC (6 channels), DCT1010DC (10 channels), and DCT1022DC (22 channels). All three variants share identical physical dimensions of 8-1/4" [209.55 mm] width, 6-1/4" [158.75 mm] height, and 6-7/8" [174.62 mm] depth (excluding housing), allowing for a standardized enclosure size.

Pressure monitoring capability is provided exclusively through the optional DCP pressure modules rather than being integrated into the base controller board. The DCP100A covers the 10 in w.c. range, while the DCP200A covers the 20 in w.c. range; both are available with NIST calibration options (e.g., DCP100A-NIST). Accessories include the DPMA-402 process indicator.
