Supported Applications
The Omega DPGM409 Series consists of metric, high accuracy digital pressure gauges with output capabilities. The series is designed for washdown and marine applications. Measurement types supported include Gauge Pressure, Sealed Gauge, Absolute Pressure, Compound Gauge, Vacuum (Negative Gauge), and Barometric.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The DPGM409 Series features an accuracy class of 0.08% BSL, with a typical value of 0.08%. In the presence of a 10V/m RF field, accuracy is ±0.08% BSL (0.15% max). Hysteresis and repeatability are both specified at ±0.08% BSL. The resolution provides a 4-digit LCD with a 9999 count.
Operating ambient temperature ranges from -18 to 66°C (0 to 150°F). Storage temperature is rated for -40 to 82°C (-40 to 180°F). The enclosure rating is Weatherproof, NEMA 4X (IP65). Pressure cycle life is a minimum of 1 million cycles. Response time is user selectable from 0.25 to 10 sec and preset to 1/sec.
Measurement ranges span multiple types:
- Gauge: 0-25 mb to 0-345 bar
- Sealed Gauge: 0-7 bar to 0-345 bar
- Absolute Pressure: 0-350 mb to 0-345 bar
- Compound Gauge: ±25 mb to ±1 bar
- Vacuum (Negative Gauge): 0 to -25 mb to 0 to -1 bar
- Barometric: 0-1100 hPa to 880-1100 hPa
Burst pressure limits vary by range and type:
- Gauge/sealed gauge, 25 mb: 10 times span
- 70 mb: 6 times span
- 170 mb to 100 bar: 4 times span
- 175 to 350 bar: 500 bar max
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable options for output signals, power supply, and wireless transmission. The housing material is 316 Stainless Steel with an ABS center gasket. Wetted materials are 316L Stainless Steel. Process connection is G¼ male.

User-selectable analog outputs include:

- 0 to 10 Vdc
- 4 to 20 mA
An optional wireless transmitter is available. Note: Compound gauge ranges have a unidirectional analog output equal to their full span; for example, -350 to 350 mb = 0 to 10 Vdc.
Power Supply
The gauges are battery-powered with one included 3.6V lithium C cell (8.4 Ah capacity). Replacement batteries are available as BATT-C-3.6V. An external dc voltage source is also supported, and an External 24 Vdc power supply is required for analog output.
Wireless Options
To order the wireless option, add suffix “-W” to the model number. Wireless receivers compatible with this series include:
- UWTC-REC1: 48-channel wireless receiver, USB powered
- UWTC-REC2-(*) : 48-channel wireless receiver with analog output
- UWTC-REC2-D-(*) : 48-channel wireless receiver with analog output and digital display
Note: Because of transmission frequency regulations, wireless models may only be used in the US, Canada and Europe.
Included Accessories & Software
Standard features include MIN/MAX/AVG readings, Hi and Lo alarms, USB setup/service software, operator's manual, set-up and configuration software, charting and databasing software, a 2.7 m (8.9') analog output cable, and one 3.6V lithium C cell battery (two with wireless option). A 5-point NIST traceable calibration is included.

To order sealed gauge models, change the suffix “G” to “SG”. This option is available on gauge ranges ≥7 bar with no extra charge. The series includes a large 25 mm (1") backlit LCD display. Electrical connection for setup is via USB, and a cable is included.
