Supported Applications

The Omega DM12CAB series consists of dual M12 extension cables designed to connect transmitters or sensors, such as OMEGA™ ZW Series and Smart Sensors, to process instrumentation. These patch cords facilitate signal transmission for applications requiring 8-pin connectivity.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series is rated for a dynamic temperature range of -25 to 105°C (-13 to 221°F) and a static temperature range of -40 to 105°C (-40 to 221°F). The cables feature PVC insulation with an overall jacket diameter of 4.8 mm (0.20"). Electrical specifications include a voltage rating of 300V and an insulation resistance of 10 MΩ/KM at 20°C.

The DM12CAB series is configurable across several dimensions to accommodate specific installation geometries. Each cable contains 7 conductors plus a drain wire, terminated with 8-pin M12 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and nickel-plated zinc alloy nuts.
