Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series 616WL is a differential pressure transmitter designed to sense very low pressures of air and non-combustible, compatible gases. The unit converts these measurements into a standard 4-20 mA output signal suitable for process monitoring systems.

The Series 616WL operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 140°F (-17.8 to 60°C), with compensated performance specified between 32 to 120°F (0 to 48.9°C) per the instruction manual or 20 to 120°F (-6.67 to 48.9°C) per the data sheet; both sources confirm a thermal effect of ±0.02% F.S./°F (0.036% F.S./°C) from 77°F (25°C). The transmitter delivers full span accuracy of ±0.50% F.S., with display models offering ±0.5% display accuracy and stability rated at ±1% F.S./yr.

Configuration Options

The series is factory calibrated to specific ranges and offered with or without a 3-digit LCD digital read-out. Models are enclosed in a weatherproof polycarbonate case rated NEMA 4X (IP66). Process connections utilize integral barbed fittings dual-sized to fit both 1/8" and 3/16" (3.2 and 4.8 mm) I.D. rubber or vinyl tubing, while electrical connections are made via a screw-type terminal block.
