Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series 750H Hermetically Sealed Electromechanical Relay is designed for use in Class I Division 2 hazardous area locations. The relay features gold flashed contacts intended to provide protection against oxidation in low current and voltage applications.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within an ambient temperature range of -40 to 131°F (-40 to 55°C) for operation, with storage limits from -40 to 185°F (-40 to 85°C). Electrical ratings support a load voltage range of 24 to 120 VAC. The relay is rated for 12 A @ 120/240 VAC (50/60 Hz) or 28 VDC. Power consumption is specified as 1.2 VA; 0.9 W.

Performance specifications include a cycle life of 100,000 cycles (electrical) and 10,000,000 cycles (mechanical). The operating range relative to nominal voltage is 85 to 110% for AC operated models and 80 to 110% for DC operated models.

Configuration Options

The Series 750H offers configurable switching operations based on the pin configuration. The series supports:

• Housing & Mounting: Metal housing designed for surface and DIN rail mounting when used with listed sockets.
• Pin Configurations: Available in 8-pin (DPDT switching) or 11-pin (3PDT switching).
• Contact Material: Silver alloy plug-in contacts; gold flashed for oxidation protection.
• Voltage Options: Input voltages of 24 VAC and 120 VAC at 50/60 Hz are available in the AC operated model lineup.

The series is approved under CE, RoHS, cUL*, UL*, cUR, and UR standards. Note that agency approvals marked with an asterisk apply when used with listed sockets.

Key Product Differences

Variants within the Series 750H differ primarily by pin count and input voltage configuration:

• 8-Pin Models (e.g., 750XBXH-24A, 750XBXH-120A): Provide DPDT switching operation. The 24 VAC model has a coil resistance of 72 Ω; the 120 VAC model has a coil resistance of 1700 Ω.
• 11-Pin Models (e.g., 750XCXH-24A, 750XCXH-120A): Provide 3PDT switching operation. The 24 VAC model has a coil resistance of 72 Ω; the 120 VAC model has a coil resistance of 1700 Ω.

The relay weighs 4.6 oz (130 g). Accessories include sockets for both 8-pin and 11-pin configurations, MOV suppressor protection modules for 24 VAC/VDC or 120 VAC/VDC, and coil bus jumpers.
