Operating Conditions & Performance
The series provides a NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure rating to protect internal components from water ingress and corrosion. Constructed with compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, the enclosures feature 5 mm thick walls that are UV stabilized for outdoor durability. The design includes UL 94 flammability rating compliance and utilizes 300 series stainless steel hardware.
Configuration Options
The OM-AMHD-R series is available in a standard configuration with specific dimensional envelopes and mounting options:
- Housing Dimensions: The primary model, OM-AMHD1860RLF, measures 457 H x 406 W x 254 mm D (18 x 16 x 10").
- Closure Mechanism: Features a raised cover with two snap latches that are pad lockable and a continuous hinge.
- Weight: The enclosure weighs 18 lbs (288 oz).
- Mounting Options: Pole mount kits for up to 406 mm (16") dia. poles are available, including the OM-AMPOLEMNT16 kit.
The series supports optional sub-panel configurations to accommodate internal component mounting:
- Steel Sub-Panels: Model OM-P186 provides a painted white steel panel measuring 429 H x 378 mm W (16.88 x 14.88").
- Aluminum Sub-Panels: Model OM-PA186 offers an aluminum alternative with identical dimensions of 429 H x 378 mm W (16.88 x 14.88").
