Supported Applications
The Omega RH820 Series consists of handheld humidity and temperature meters designed for portable measurement tasks. The series supports Relative Humidity, Temperature, Dew Point, and Wet/Dry Bulb calculations using an internal NTC sensor or an external Type K thermocouple connected via the SMP type miniature connector.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The RH820 Series operates within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 50°C (32 to 122°F) at less than 80% RH. Storage conditions are specified as -20 to 60°C (-4 to 140°F), 0 to 70% RH with the battery removed from the meter.
- Temperature Measurement Range: -50 to 1000°C (-58 to 1832°F) for external Type K thermocouple; 0 to 60°C (32 to 140°F) for internal temperature sensor.
- Relative Humidity Range: 0 to 100% RH.
- Resolution: 0.1°C/°F.
- Sensor Response Time: 60 sec typical for 90% of Total Range.

- RH820W: Features Wireless 2-Way Transmission operating in the USA, 900 MHz frequency band. The RH820W Frequency Range is specified as 910–920 MHz with low current consumption less than 1 mA and a transmitting distance that can reach 25M.
- RH820U comes with software and a USB cable for wired data transfer.
- RH820W also comes with software but includes a receiver for wireless operation. All wireless units are USA, 900 MHz frequency band versions.
Configuration Options
The series is available in three primary configurations distinguished by interface and communication capabilities:
Standard features across the series include MAX/MIN/AVG/REL/HOLD functions. The unit includes four 1.5V "AAA" batteries, a Type K thermocouple, a rubber boot, NIST calibration (no points), and an operator's manual. Accessories available for the HH800 series family include the SC-800 soft case; the USB model supports the HH800-ADAPTOR AC adaptor.

Mostly good, one disapppointment
I like all the features and know that I'll likely get a lot of use out of it. The disappointment is the first time I used it and saved 240 data points 80% of the file was corrupted when I downloaded to Excel. Only the first 48 data points were good. The rest were trash. Maybe I did something wrong, so I'll keep trying.

can I measure relative humidity inside an oven where the temperature could be up to 95C?

Thank you for the inquiry. The sensor is located at the top of the handheld and the max operating temperature range is limited to 50 C.
