Supported Applications

The Omega SCE-FK Series Enclosure Leg Kits are designed to convert wall-mounted enclosures into free-standing units or provide support for existing free-standing configurations. These kits are specified for use with enclosures that have a width of 20" or more and a depth of 8" or deeper.

Documented applications include:

• Conversion of wall-mounted enclosures to free-standing installations

Operating Conditions & Performance

The SCE-FK Series is engineered with specific dimensional parameters and material finishes to support heavy-duty electrical enclosures. The kits include two stands constructed from carbon steel or stainless steel, depending on the model selection.

• Leg Dimensions: Leg width of 25 mm (1.00 in), leg depth of 19 mm (0.75 in)

The series supports variable heights and depths defined by the model number, with specific dimensions detailed in the ordering tables.

Housing Materials & Finishes

• Gray Steel Models: Carbon steel stands finished with ANSI-61 high solids re-coatable ANSI-61 gray powder coat.
• Stainless Steel (SS) Models: Type 304 Stainless Steel with a #4 brushed finish.
• "SS6" Models: Type 316 Stainless Steel with a #4 brushed finish.

• Gray Steel: Standard carbon steel with powder coat finish.
• 304 SS: Stainless Steel Type 304, indicated by the "SS" suffix in model numbers (e.g., SCE-FK1208SS).
• 316 SS: Stainless Steel Type 316, indicated by the "SS6" suffix in model numbers (e.g., SCE-FK1212SS6).

Key Product Differences

Variants within the series are distinguished primarily by their dimensional capacity and material grade. The Gray Steel variants cover a broad range of heights from 6" to 24" with depths ranging from 8" to 24", including specific combinations such as SCE-FK0608 (152 mm x 203 mm) up to SCE-FK2412 (700 mm x 305 mm).

Stainless Steel variants are available in two material grades. The standard "SS" models utilize Type 304 Stainless Steel and include configurations such as SCE-FK1208SS, SCE-FK1516SS, and SCE-FK2410SS. A subset of the series features the "SS6" designation for Type 316 Stainless Steel construction; these are currently documented in specific height/depth combinations including 12", 15", and 24" heights paired with depths of 12", 18", or 24" (e.g., SCE-FK1212SS6, SCE-FK1518SS6).

Model numbers explicitly encode the height in inches as a two-digit prefix and depth in inches as a subsequent two-digit code. For example, SCE-FK1208 denotes a 305 mm (12") height and 203 mm (8") depth kit made of Gray Steel.
