Supported Applications

The Easidew Advanced Online is a versatile, premium-performance dew-point hygrometer system built around Michell's ceramic metal-oxide sensing technology for stable, reliable, and repeatable moisture measurement. Paired with a touchscreen Process Monitor, it is designed for continuous online monitoring of dry gases.

The system is compatible with Air, Nitrogen, Natural Gas, Hydrogen, and Inert Gases, making it suitable for compressed-air drying, gas processing, and industrial moisture control. Gas-wetted parts are 316 stainless steel, with BS EN 10204 3.1 material certification available as an option. The instrument carries CE, RoHS, and REACH compliance and is rated IP65.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The hygrometer measures dew point across a range of -110...+20 °C, with a -100...+20 °C range option. Accuracy is ±1 °C from -60 to +20 °C dew point and ±2 °C from -100 to -60 °C dew point, with repeatability of 0.5 °C dew point and a resolution of 0.1 °C. Response is 5 mins to T95 (dry to wet).

Outputs comprise 3 x 4...20 mA channels, Modbus RTU over RS485, and 4 programmable relay alarms, with load resistance of 0 to 600 Ω. Power is 85...265 V AC or 18...30 V DC. The sensor connects via an M12 5 pin (A Coded) connector, and process connections are available as G1/2" BSP, 3/4" 16 UNF, and 5/8" 18 UNF.

The process operates over 0 to 40 bar with a burst pressure of 100 bar. Environmental ratings include vibration of 10–500 Hz, 1.5 mm and shock of 15 g, 11 ms. The transmitter probe has a diameter of 12 mm, insertion length of 50 mm, and overall length of 150 mm.

Configuration Options

Following an ordering-code change effective 1st July 2025, the system uses a simplified structure: a base model code (EA2-AOL) plus single-letter options for Connection, Input, Range, Protection, Power, and Cable. This lets a single platform be tailored across six configuration axes.

  • Connection selects the process fitting: G1/2" BSP, 3/4" UNF, or 5/8" UNF process connection / sample block.
  • Range chooses the dew-point span: -100 to +20°C or the wider -110 to +20°C.
  • Protection selects the sensor guard: a Standard HDPE guard (protection against fine particulates <10 μm) or an SS sintered guard (protection against fine particulates <80 μm).
  • Power selects 85 to 265 V AC or 18 to 28V DC.
  • Cable selects the M12 sensor cable length: 2m, 5m, or 10m.
