Supported Applications

The Omega DOH-10 Series is a handheld Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Meter Kit designed for portable measurement of dissolved oxygen and temperature. The series supports applications in aquariums, bio-reactions, environmental testing (lakes, streams, oceans), water / wastewater treatment, and wine production.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The DOH-10 Series measures Dissolved Oxygen across a range of 0~199.9% (In saturation) or 0.0~20.0 mg/L with an accuracy of ±2% of full scale + 1 digit and resolution of 0.1%, 0.1 mg/L. Temperature measurement covers 0~90 °C with an accuracy of ±0.5 °C and a resolution of 0.1 °C.

The system utilizes galvanic electrodes that feature no long 'warm up' time. The DO electrode requires a flow condition of 0.3 mL/s for measurement. Calibration is performed via 100% Air-Saturated self-calibration. Battery life is approximately 480 hours for continuous use.

Configuration Options

The series offers two primary configurations: the standard DOH-10 and the DOH-10-DL, which includes an optional SD Card Data Logger capability. The meter features a large LCD display with hold function, power capacity icon indicator, automatic power off in 15 minutes (disableable), and RFS (Recover to Factory Setting) function.

Key configurable options include:

• Data Logging: Available on the DOH-10-DL model with an 8G SD card. Sampling time settings range from Auto: 2 secs, 5 secs, 10 secs, 15 secs, 30 secs, 60 secs, 120 secs, 300secs, 600 secs, 900 secs, 1800secs, 1Hr to Manual: 0 second (single sample).
• Temperature Compensation: Built-in selectable options include Thermistor 30K ohm, Thermistor 10K ohm (default), or manual entry (NOT) where the user enters temperature values from an external instrument.
• Power Supply: Operates on AAA batteries x 3 pcs or a 9V AC/DC adapter (AQM-100-PW, sold separately).

The kit includes compact DO electrodes with a 3M cable and membrane cap. Replacement parts supplied include one Membrane cap, ten membranes, red sandpaper for polishing the DO electrode, and electrolyte (0.5M NaOH) x1.

Key Product Differences

The primary distinction between models is data logging capability:

• DOH-10: Standard handheld meter with DO and temperature measurement, hold function, and automatic power off. Does not include SD card memory or sampling time settings.
• DOH-10-DL: Includes all standard features plus an 8G SD memory card for data logging. Supports configurable auto-sampling intervals (2 secs to 1 Hr) and manual single-sample capture by setting the sampling time to 0 second.

The DO electrode body is constructed of ABS with a dimension of 12x120mm (diameter x length). The meter connects via a BNC connector compatible with any DO galvanic electrode. Temperature sensor probe port on the electrode is a 3.5 Ø mm diameter phone jack supporting 10K ohm resistance.
