The Omega DRA-ACT-4 series comprises isolated AC signal conditioners designed to convert measured AC current or AC voltage inputs into a proportional, linear 4 to 20 mA output. The DRA-ACT-4I models serve as ac current input transmitters, while the DRA-ACT-4V models function as ac voltage input transmitters. These units are engineered for DIN rail mount or wall mount installations in industrial environments requiring signal isolation and conditioning.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 158°F (0 to 70°C) with a storage temperature capability from -13 to 185°F (-25 to 85°C). Humidity tolerance is rated at 5 to 95% RH, noncondensing. Performance specifications include an accuracy of ±0.1% of span typical (2 to 100% of span) for pure sinusoidal input and a temperature stability of 0.02%/1°C. The response time is documented as 220 msec (0 to 98%).

Configuration Options

The primary distinction within the series is the input type and range, separating AC current models (DRA-ACT-4I) from AC voltage models (DRA-ACT-4V). Input power consumption differs by model: DRA-ACT-4I consumes 0.26 VA at a 5 Aac input; DRA-ACT-4V consumes 0.3 VA at 120 Vac input and 1.4 VA at 230 Vac input.
Calibration is performed using front-panel Zero and Span potentiometers for fine tuning, following factory-set coarse ranging. The series includes a 1-year warranty with an optional OMEGACARE™ extended warranty program available upon request.
