OMEGA push-in crimp-style contacts are manufactured from thermocouple alloy materials and are color-coded for easy identification. Contacts are crimp-terminated outside the connector assembly and inserted into the appropriate cavity by means of an insertion tool. They can be readily removed from the connector assembly using a special removal tool. Sealing plugs are available to seal unused positions in lieu of pin or socket.
* For use with non-thermocouple wire in same body.
Pins have red, yellow and brown color bars; sockets have red, blue and black color bars.

Can we use this type of pin/socket without the MTC connector?

Yes, the HPC series will work the MTC series connectors.

What is the maximum environmental temperature rating for these connectors?
These pins are made from Extension Grade Materials. In order to meet the accuracy/tolerance requirements of ASTM E230 for standard, this means 200°C max for most TC types, except for Type T which is 100°C max temperature.

What is the max current rating for the gold pin - HPC-AU-S ?
There is no Amperage rating on these pins as they are meant to be used for signals such as RTD's and Thermistor's.
