Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series SVT Solenoid Valve Enclosure with Timer is a compact package designed for small to medium filtration systems. It combines a timer board and solenoid valve enclosure into one unit, eliminating the need for separate enclosures and wiring. The series supports On-Demand Cleaning or Down Time Cleaning functions selected via dip-switches. For on-demand systems, a Dwyer® A3000 Photohelic® gage or Series 1950 pressure switch may be used with the SVT.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The series operates within temperature limits of 14 to 122°F (-10 to 50°C) and supports a maximum pressure limit of 116 psi (8 bar). Service is specified for compatible gases, filtered and oil-free. The universal power supply accepts 90-240 VAC at either 50 or 60 Hz, as well as 24 VAC 50-60 Hz and 24 VDC ±10%. Power consumption is rated at 25 VA/25 W.

Timing performance includes an On-Time range of 150 ms to 700 ms and an Off-Time range of 4 s to 210 s, adjustable via rotating potentiometers. The unit features a NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure rating and can be mounted in any position.

Configuration Options

The Series SVT is available with configurations for 2, 4, or 6 valves. For larger systems requiring more outputs, expansion modules can be daisy-chained to the SVT for a maximum of 60 outputs.

Configuration Options

Dip-switches allow selection of specific operational modes:

• SW#1: Clean On Demand (OFF or ON)
• SW#2: Start Cleaning with Open Contact (OFF) or Closed Contact (ON)
• SW#4: TEST mode (pause time 1 second, ON) or Normal operation (pause time set by potentiometer, OFF)

Key Product Differences

The series includes base models with integrated timers (SVT-2, SVT-3, SVT-4, SVT-6) and DC-compatible variants (e.g., SVT-2-DC). Expansion modules are offered as separate units to increase output capacity:

• SVTE-4: Expansion module with 4 outputs
• SVTE-6: Expansion module with 6 outputs

The SVT series holds CE compliance. A California Proposition 65 warning applies to this product regarding exposure to chemicals including Lead.
