Supported Applications
The Omega OM-90 Series are compact, portable temperature and humidity data loggers designed for documenting environmental conditions during transport. The series is commonly used in applications involving the shipment of sensitive or fragile items, food products, animal/livestock, plants, chemicals, medicines, and organs.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The OM-90 Series measures temperature across a range of -20 °C to 75 °C (-4 °F to 167 °F) with a resolution of 0.01 °C. Temperature accuracy is specified as ±0.3 °C from 0 °C to 65 °C (32 °F to 149 °F), and ±0.4 °C otherwise. The OM-92 model extends capability to relative humidity, measuring 0 % to 100 % RH with a resolution of 0.02 % RH. Humidity accuracy is rated at ±3 % from 25 % to 80 % RH range; ±4 % RH otherwise.
Powered by a user-replaceable CR2032 battery, the logger provides up to 2 years of battery life while logging. The device features an internal real-time clock with an accuracy of 0.50 sec/day (~3 min/year), which continues to keep time when off and automatically syncs to a PC upon connection.
Configuration Options
The series supports flexible configuration for data acquisition, including multiple start modes: immediate start on disconnect from PC, delayed start (scheduled date/time), push-button start, or real-time logging. Recording intervals are software-selectable at 1 sec, 10 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 10 min, 30 min, and 1 hr.
Key configurable features include:
- Memory Capacity: The OM-92 model stores up to 65,520 temperature measurements and 65,520 humidity measurements with time stamps.
- Alarms & Indicators: High and low alarms for temperature and humidity are supported, indicated by a dedicated alarm LED. Status LEDs provide operational feedback.
- Device Identification: Each data logger can be assigned a unique 16-character name (Device ID).
- Data Interface: A USB-C port connects the unit to a PC for configuration, real-time viewing, and data extraction. The software is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7, 8 & 10 (32-bit and 64-bit) and exports data in CSV format.
- Bypass Mode: When connected to a PC via USB-C, the unit draws power from the host to conserve battery life.
The physical dimensions of the logger are 54 mm H x 35 mm W x 10 mm D (2.13 in x 1.38 in x 0.39 in), with a weight of 25 g (0.9 oz).

Compact - Easy to Use
The mini CD that came with the product did not work. However, one call to Omega and tech support emailed me the software. Once installed, the setup was incredibility easy. I set the unit up, shipped it to my customer with instructions to install and to hit the small button on the right of unit to activate. 2 weeks later picked the unit up. Downloading the data and transferring to Excel was seamless. Highly recommend.

Works Perfect!
I purchased 2 of these about 2 months ago and they work great. I needed them to monitor temps in 2 tenant spaces.I have been using temp scribes from Grainger in the past and they are a few hundreds each. then you have to purchase chart paper and replace pencils. These are digital and can create a professional looking report to share with others if needed. For the price you can't beat them.

Can't really comment
The data logger came with a tiny CD which as everyone knows, almost no computers anywhere have a drive anymore. Went to the website to find file which was extremely difficult and once found, unable to load onto the chrome. So cant comment on items functionality cause I can not get it to work. What can be said, it thank goodness I only bought one and it was only 60 bucks!

Great product when you can find the software
I have had this about 45 days and it has preformed well. DO NOT lose the software disk that the product comes with. You will NEVER find the software on the omega site if you need to download it again

Impossible to use.
Cannot download data from unit to software. Unit will not consistently connect. Software will not work with Windows 10.

Are these or any other temp/RH loggers waterproof?

- lead time? - How do we read the measurement on a automation plc (analog signal 0-10V or 0-20mA or 4-20mA etc...) or is it direct modbus serial or tcp connection or other? - How often does it need calibration? - what is the life span?

This device strictly works via USB on its own proprietary software, it does not have tcp or modbus capability.

I have an OM-92 and for some reason I'm not getting similar RH values to my standard. Why is this? Specifications say that the accuracy is 3% from 20-80%.

Would this model be compatible in an environment with significant particulate concentrations?
