Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series LCI132 is a compact process indicator designed for indicating DC volts, DC mA, and DC mV in the -0X model family. The series also supports AC voltage and current inputs alongside extended DC ranges in the 1X models. These full-size panel meters are engineered for installation in panels with limited depth, specifically accommodating enclosures as shallow as 2.76" (70 mm).
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series LCI132 operates within an ambient temperature range of -10°C to +60°C (14 to 140°F) and supports storage temperatures from -25°C to +85°C (-13 to 185°F). The device maintains performance in relative humidity up to <95% at 40°C (non-condensed) with a maximum altitude of 2000m. Accuracy specifications vary by model family: the LCI132-0X series provides ±(0.1% of reading + 3 digits), while the LCI132-1X series offers ±(0.2% reading + 3 digits) for specific DC and AC ranges, or ±(0.4% reading + 4 digits) for 100 V / 1 A AC inputs.
Input impedance is rated at 1 MΩ for volts, 100 MΩ for mV (LCI132-0X), and 3 MΩ for volts in the LCI132-1X family. The display features a reading rate of 4/s with an overflow indication labeled "OVR" or "OUE." A warm-up period of 5 minutes is required before operation.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable input ranges and power supply options across four primary models. The LCI132-0X family handles DC inputs including ±200 V, ±20 V, ±10 V, ±(50/60/100) mV, and ±20 mA DC with resolutions of 0.1 V, 0.01 V, 1 mV, or 0.01 mA depending on the range.
The LCI132-1X family expands capability to AC measurements:
- AC Voltage/Current: Supports ±100 VAC, 600 VAC, and current ranges of 5 A (DC) or 1 A (AC).
- Extended DC Ranges: Includes -199.9 to +600 VDC and amperage from -1.999 to +5.000 A.
All models feature a 4-digit red display (10 mm) with a programmable decimal point and a range of -1999 to 9999 for DC inputs, or 0 to 9999 for AC inputs. The enclosure is constructed from Polycarbonate s/ UL 94 V-0 material.
Power supply configurations are model-dependent:
- -X0 Models (LCI132-00, LCI132-10): Accept 85–265 VAC 50/60 Hz and 100–300 VDC; require a F 0.1A / 250V fuse (DIN 41661).
- -X1 Models (LCI132-01, LCI132-11): Accept 21–53 VAC 50/60 Hz and 10.5–70 VDC; require a F 0.5A / 250V fuse (DIN 41661).
Note: Power supply units and fuses are not supplied with the meter.
Key Product Differences
The Series LCI132 distinguishes between two primary input families. The -0X models (LCI132-00, LCI132-01) are dedicated to DC voltage and current measurements with high-resolution mV capabilities. The -1X models (LCI132-10, LCI132-11) introduce AC measurement functionality alongside broader DC ranges up to 600 VDC.
Within each input family, the second digit of the model number defines the power supply voltage range. Models ending in "0" (e.g., -00, -10) are configured for universal mains or high-voltage DC inputs (85–265 VAC / 100–300 VDC). Models ending in "1" (e.g., -01, -11) are designed for lower voltage control power supplies (21–53 VAC / 10.5–70 VDC).
Physical dimensions remain consistent across the series at 48 x 24 mm faceplate with a depth of approximately 70mm, requiring a panel cutout of 45 x 22 mm (or 2-49/64" width by 53/64" height). The front panel sealing is rated IP65 in the manual and NEMA 4X / IP66 in the data sheet specifications.
