Supported Applications
The Dwyer Series UBT is a clamp-on ultrasonic thermal energy meter designed for heating and chilled water systems. It measures flow rate, totalized flow, supply/return temperatures via PT100 sensors, and calculates both energy rate and totalized energy.

The series is configured for use on steel, stainless steel (SS), copper, or plastic pipes. The default configuration supports heating service with return-side installation.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The Series UBT operates within a process temperature range of 32 to 185°F (0 to 85°C) and an ambient temperature range of 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C). It is rated for humidity up to 90% RH at 122°F (50°C) max. The enclosure material is plastic polycarbonate with an IP54 rating.
Performance specifications include:
- Flow Velocity Range: 0.3 ft/s to 32 ft/s (0.1 m/s to 10 m/s)
