The CDX9 Series is a solar-powered industrial digital thermometer for local temperature indication. Its angled solar panel collects light from multiple planes, and the instrument is specified for operation at illuminance levels down to 10 lux. A high-contrast LCD with 0.50 inch black characters supports viewing from greater distances than a typical glass tube thermometer. The field-switchable display covers -50 to 300°F and -45 to 150°C.
The thermometer uses a high-impact black ABS case, aluminum stem, brass coupling nut, and glass-passivated thermistor sensor. Its adjustable fitting can be positioned through 180° in the vertical plane and 360° in the horizontal plane, helping orient the display after installation. Readings update every 10 seconds. Resolution is 0.1° from -19.9 to 199.9°F (-28 to 93°C) and 1.0° from 200 to 300°F (94 to 150°C). An internal potentiometer supports recalibration.
CDX935 and CDX960 models provide 3.5 inch and 6 inch stem lengths, respectively. Compatible thermowells are available in Brass, 304 Stainless Steel, and 316 Stainless Steel.
