Supported Applications
The Omega PX2650 series consists of bidirectional, differential low-pressure transducers designed to sense differential or gage (static) pressure and convert it into a proportional high-level analog output. The product overview identifies suitability for building management systems, HVAC ducts, and clean rooms.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The PX2650 series utilizes capacitive sensors to measure differential pressure across unidirectional ranges from 0 to 100 inH2O and bidirectional (±) ranges up to ±50 inH2O. Accuracy is specified as ±1% BFSL at constant temperature, which includes linearity, repeatability, and hysteresis. Typical performance characteristics include a linearity of ±0.98% full scale, hysteresis of 0.1% full scale (typical), and repeatability of ±0.05% full scale.
Thermal effects are rated at ±0.06%/°C (±0.033%/°F) within the compensated temperature range of -18 to 65°C (0 to 149°F). The series is designed for use with air or similar non-conducting gases and features a proof pressure rating of ±1 psi across all ranges.
Configuration Options
The PX2650 series offers configurable measurement ranges covering both unidirectional (D) and bidirectional (B) differential pressures. Available output signals are set to 5 Vdc with a span tolerance of ±50 mV, while the zero offset is set to ±50 mV.
- Measurement Ranges: Unidirectional options include 0 to 0.5 inH2O, 0 to 2 inH2O, 0 to 10 inH2O, 0 to 25 inH2O, 0 to 50 inH2O, and 0 to 100 inH2O. Bidirectional options include ±0.25 inH2O, ±1 inH2O, ±2 inH2O, ±5 inH2O, ±10 inH2O, ±25 inH2O, and ±50 inH2O.
- Housing & Mounting: The unit features a fire-retardant glass-filled polyester case with 2 mounting tabs containing #8 holes. Overall dimensions are 69 mm (2.730 in) width, 47 mm (1.860 in) height, and 42 mm (1.64 in) depth.
- Process Connections: Pressure ports utilize a ⅜" OD pressure fitting compatible with ¼" tubing.
- Electrical Interface: The series uses screw terminals for connection, accepting an unregulated excitation voltage of 9 to 30 Vdc. Output impedance is less than 100 Ω.
Key Product Differences
Variants within the PX2650 series are distinguished by their specific pressure range and directionality, encoded in the model number (e.g., PX2650-0.5D5V for 0 to 0.5 inH2O unidirectional or PX2650-1BD5V for ±1 inH2O bidirectional). The series is factory-calibrated with the diaphragm vertical; position effects vary by range, such as a 0.3% FS zero offset for the 0 to 10" WC range and up to 0.6% FS/G for lower ranges like 0 to 0.5 inH2O.
The series carries CE marking and is manufactured in the USA with a 3-year warranty. The input includes reverse-voltage protection, and the output is internally protected against short-to-ground damage.

These would be used in an agricultural/harvesting, dirty air environment. What can be done to keep the lines clean from debris?
The only thing we can suggest is an inline filtering system of some sort

Could you please tell me the resolution of the A/D converter on model PX2650-10D5V?
The PX2650-10D5V simply has a linear 0 to 5VDC signal output over it's 0 to 10" wc differential pressure. Signal resolution wonder depend on the input signal resolution of the device you are reading this signal with.
