Supported Applications

The Omega TL-5 series consists of non-reversible OMEGALABEL® temperature labels designed for general, aeronautical, electrical, and HVAC applications where size is not a conditioning factor. These adhesive-backed indicators turn black when exposed to specific temperatures, providing a permanent visual record that the surface has reached or exceeded those set points.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The TL-5 series provides five distinct temperature activation points on each label within ranges spanning from 105°F (40°C) to 500°F (260°C). Accuracy specifications vary by the measured range: up to ±1°C (1.8°F) for temperatures up to 99°C (210°F); ±1.5°C (2.7°F) from 100°C (212°F) to 154°C (309°F); and ±1% and ±1°C (1.8°F) from 160°C (320°F) to 280°C (536°F). The labels are non-reversible, meaning the color change is permanent once triggered.

Configuration Options

The TL-5 series offers a compact form factor with overall dimensions of 34 x 18 mm (1.34 x 0.7"). Each label in this series displays five temperature ranges simultaneously, allowing for multi-point monitoring on a single surface area.
