cartridge heater
Use two of them to heat a 100 cm3 metal cube. Reach 350°C within 10 minutes. Easy to work with.

Hello. These heaters are described as having “high dielectric strength”, but I cannot find a specific value for this. Can you please share the dielectric strength?
Thank you for your inquiry. Standard test is done at 500VDC.

Can we use this heater for a long time? For example, I'm planning to use it for one week to keep my vessel the 300 degrees Celsius.
The HDC Heaters are meant for continuous use and using one with the lowest Watt density to meet your requirements would theoretically last the longest.

Is the wire lead covering right next to the heater also able to withstand high temperatures of up to 600 C? I have purchased cartridge heaters before which seem to have some sort of plastic/rubber like coating.
Thank you for the inquiry. Leads are fiberglass insulated UL approved to 250 C.
Best regards

Hi I purchased both 75 watt and 150 watt heaters - 0250-0125-0075-N-10-1 AND ICH-0250-0125-0150-N-10-1. Why there is contact (75 - 250 M ohm) between the outside sheath and the heater connecting wires. They should be fully insulated.
Hi Ajay,
Yes, heater leads should be isolated from the sheath of the cartridge. Please forward this note to TEMP@OMEGA.COM.
