Operating Conditions & Performance
The series operates within an ambient temperature range of 32 to 104°F (0 to 40°C) and a process fluid temperature range of 32 to 201°F (0 to 94°C). The maximum pressure rating is 300 psi (20.7 bar), with close-off pressures varying by size: 22 psi (1.5 bar) for the 1/2" model, 14.5 psi (1.0 bar) for the 3/4" model, and 10 psi (.70 bar) for the 1" model.
Performance cycle times are documented as an opening time of 11 s and a closing time of 5 s. The valves feature wetted materials including Brass, SS (Stainless Steel), and NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber).
Configuration Options
The Series 3ZV1 is available in three nominal sizes: 1/2", 3/4", and 1". Standard supply voltages include 120 VAC or 24 VAC, ±10%, 50/60 Hz. The housing material is Aluminum with a general purpose enclosure rating.
Key configurable options and features include:
- Sizes & Flow Coefficients (Cv): 1/2" size offers Cv 3.78; 3/4" size offers Cv 3.78; 1" size offers Cv 8.02.
- Process Connections: Standard Female NPT connections are provided, with optional BSP or sweat connections available upon consultation with the factory.
- Electrical Connection: Includes a 22 AWG cable, 5" (127 mm) long.
- Manual Override: An externally accessible manual operating lever allows for normal-opened positioning; moving the lever slowly and holding it in the retaining notch engages this mode. Upon re-powering, the lever returns to the automatic position.
Optional configurations include a 220 VAC power supply and auxiliary switches, which require factory consultation.

Installation orientation constraints apply: when mounted on a horizontal pipe, the angle must be positioned less than 85°. When mounted on a vertical pipe, dripping must be prevented. The Series 3ZV1 is not field serviceable; units requiring repair should be returned to the factory with a return good authorization number.
