Supported Applications
The Omega CN1500 Series is a compact 1/8 DIN multi-zone ramp and soak controller designed for process control applications requiring up to seven independent zones in a single enclosure. The series integrates features of multiple full PID controllers, allowing each zone to be independently programmed with its own ramp/soak profile, setpoint deviation display, and PID parameters (Rate, Reset, Proportional band). It supports automatic scanning and captures maximum and minimum readings for each monitored zone.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The CN1504-Series accepts a wide range of input signals including J, K, T, E, R, S, B thermocouples; 0.00385 and 0.00392 RTDs (2-wire); 400 Series thermistors; and linear inputs for current (4 to 20 mA), millivolt (0 to 100 mV), and voltage (0 to 10 V). Accuracy specifications vary by input type:
- Thermocouples J, K, T, E: ±1°C ±1 count (±2°F ±1 count)
- Thermocouples R, S, B: ±3°C ±1 count (±6°F ±1 count)
- RTD 0.00385 and 0.00392: ±1°C ±1 count (±2°F ±1 count)

Configuration Options
