Supported Applications

The Omega OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A is a wireless data logger designed to measure and record DC voltage signals. The device connects directly to DC voltage sources, making it suitable for battery usage studies, solar energy monitoring, and other DC voltage monitoring applications.

Additionally, the series can be interfaced with a wide range of voltage output sensors, including pressure sensors and CO2 sensors, as well as transmitters and other transducers. The device features an LCD screen providing instant access to current reading, minimum, maximum, and average statistics.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A series measures DC voltage across four specific ranges: 2.5V, 15V, 30V, or 160mV. The device includes LED indicators for Status (Green), Wireless (Blue), and Alarm (Red) conditions.

Recalibration is recommended annually using standard points defined by the model range: 0V and 2.5V for the 2.5V model; 0V and 15V for the 15V model; 0V and 25V for the 30V model; and 0V and 100mV+/-1mV for the 160mV model.

Configuration Options

The series is available in four measurement range configurations, identified by their suffix:

  • OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A-2.5V: 2.5V measurement range.
  • OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A-15V: 15V measurement range.
  • OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A-30V: 30V measurement range.
  • OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A-160MV: 160mV measurement range.

The device features three selection buttons: Scroll, Units, and Wireless. Statistics can be reset manually via the keypad without erasing recorded data. The unit is programmable with engineering units (e.g., PSI, %, PPM) via software.

Connections & Mounting

The electrical connection utilizes a terminal block on the bottom of the device featuring one positive and one negative terminal; the 160mV model includes an additional ground terminal. The base supports tabletop mounting or wall mounting with screws.

Key Product Differences

Variants within the OM-CP-RFVOLT2000A series differ primarily by their measurement range and associated calibration points. A key distinction exists in the electrical connection: while standard models utilize a two-position terminal block (positive/negative), the 160mV model incorporates a three-position terminal block to accommodate ground connections.

Battery replacement for all variants requires part number OM-CP-BAT103.
