Supported Applications
The Omega PST-4130 is an AC line-powered adjustable output power source designed for strain gages and pressure transducers. It can also be used as a high-quality voltage source or reference in many applications.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The unit provides an adjustable output of 4 to 15 Vdc with a maximum current of 150 mA (see graph). Line and load regulation is specified at 0.005%, with noise levels of 0.5 mV RMS and stability of 50 ppm/°C. The PST-4130 features excellent regulation, stability, and very low noise.
Operating temperature ranges from 32 ° to 158 °F (0 ° to 70 °C), while storage temperature is rated for -13 to 185 °F (-25 ° to 85 °C). The device includes a split bobbin transformer providing 1500 Vdc line isolation and utilizes remote sensing to eliminate line drop errors.
