Supported Applications

The OMEGAFLEX™ CHEMICAL TUBING – PFA Formulation, Metric Diameters series consists of tubing made from Teflon® PFA. Operating Conditions & Performance

Configuration Options

The series supports a range of metric outer diameters (OD) from 4 mm to 16 mm with corresponding inner diameters (ID). The model number guide follows the format TYTP-<OD>-<Length> (example: TYTP-86-50), where OD is represented by two digits and length in feet.

Key Product Differences

Variants within this series differ by outer diameter, inner diameter, and standard length. The pressure rating decreases as the outer diameter increases; for example, the 4 mm OD variant is rated to 400 psi @ 23°C/73°F, while the 16 mm OD variant is rated to 100 psi @ 23°C/73°F.

Model numbers encode these dimensions directly. For instance, TYTP-86-50 denotes an 8 mm OD tube with a length of 50 ft. The wall thickness remains constant at 1 mm for all listed configurations in the metric series.
