Supported Applications

The Dwyer Series SMV2 Mini Stainless Steel Ball Valve is designed for small, confined spaces where larger valves are unsuitable. The valve provides bubble-tight shutoff and broad media compatibility using PTFE ball seats. It serves applications involving gases and liquids compatible with the wetted materials.

• Gases and liquids service (not rated for steam use)

Operating Conditions & Performance

The Series SMV2 operates within specific pressure and temperature limits defined by pipe size. The maximum process temperature is 212°F (100°C). Pressure ratings vary as follows:

• 1/8" to 3/8": 1000 psi (68.9 bar) WOG
• 1/2": 800 psi (51.1 bar) WOG

The valve meets the technical requirements of EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II).

Configuration Options

The series offers configurable end connections and pipe sizes to accommodate different installation needs. End connections are NPT, with options for Female x Female or Male x Female configurations.
