Supported Applications
The Omega PGF Series consists of vibration-resistant, liquid-filled pressure gauges designed for environments subject to vibration, pulsation, and shock. These leakproof instruments feature a glycerine fill fluid that dampens needle movement to protect internal mechanisms in demanding conditions.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The PGF Series covers measurement ranges from 30V inHg (vacuum) up to 10,000 psi. Accuracy is specified as ±3-2-3%. The gauges operate within an ambient temperature limit of 66°C (150°F) maximum.

Configuration Options
The series is configured by mounting orientation and pressure range. The model number format follows PGF--, where the mounting code indicates either back or lower installation.
- Mounting Options:
- Back Mount (B): Model suffix "25B". Dimensions include a height of 69 mm (2.71 in) and depth of 31 mm (1.21 in).
- Lower Mount (L): Model suffix "25L". Features the same face dimensions with an additional lower connection profile.
- Pressure Ranges:
- Vacuum: 30V inHg (with minor ticks of 0.5 inHg inches)
- Positive Pressure: Discrete ranges including 15, 30, 60, 100, 200, 300, 400, 600, 1000, 3000, 5000, and 10,000 psi.
- Scale intervals vary by range; for example, the 100 psi range has a figure interval of 10 with minor ticks of 1, while the 10,000 psi range uses an interval of 1000 with minor ticks of 200.
Key Product Differences
Variants within the PGF Series are distinguished primarily by their mounting configuration and selected pressure scale. The Back Mount (PGF-25B) and Lower Mount (PGF-25L) models share identical dial diameters, accuracy classes, wetted materials, and fill fluid types.
Dimensional differences between the two configurations are limited to specific profile measurements required for installation: Back mount units list "N/A" for dimensions D and G in the specification table, while Lower mount units specify dimension D as 12 mm (0.46 in) and dimension G as 56 mm (2.20 in). Both mounting styles maintain a consistent weight of 21 kg (0.47 lb).
