The Omega FTMC-Series consists of chrome-plated brass mechanically keyed quick couplings designed for instrumentation applications requiring non-interchangeable, foolproof connections. The series includes high-temperature versions featuring Viton seals to support durability and heat resistance in demanding environments.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The FTMC-Series operates within a process temperature range of -40 to 204°C (-40 to 400°F) and an ambient temperature range of -40 to 82°C (-40 to 180°F) continuous. The pressure rating is Vacuum to 250 psi, 17.3 Bar.
Wetted materials include Chrome-Plated Brass, Viton, 316 Stainless Steel, Delrin Acetal, and Buna-N. Standard thermoplastic and chrome-plated brass quick disconnects cannot be interchanged with keyed disconnect couplings because they will leak.
Configuration Options
The series supports configurable body types, flow sizes, key codes, and shutoff options following the model number guide: FT-MC or FT-LC - <BODY TYPE> - <FLOW SIZE> - <KEY CODE> - <SHUTOFF>. High-temperature versions are ordered by adding 'HT' after the part number.
Available configurations include:
- Coupling Bodies (Straight Thru and Shutoff):
- Pipe Thread: 1/8" NPT Male Thread
- Tubing Connections: 1/8" ID, 1/4" OD x .170" ID
- Panel Mount with Hose Barb and Ferruleless Polytube Fitting (PTF)
Note: PTF fittings are designed for semi-rigid tubing such as polyethylene, nylon, and polyurethane. High-temperature versions require a minimum 25-piece order.
Key Product Differences
The series distinguishes between straight-through models (e.g., FT-MC10-04-K*) and shutoff models (e.g., FT-MCD10-04-K*). Inserts are available separately for specific tubing sizes, including 1/8" ID and 1/4" OD x .170" ID configurations. Key codes ensure non-interchangeability between different lines or instruments.
