Supported Applications
The Omega MPS30 Melting Point Apparatus is designed to measure and record the temperatures of crystalline samples held within capillary tubes. The instrument features an illuminated aluminum block that accommodates up to three capillary tubes, which are viewed through a magnifying lens.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The MPS30-series operates over a temperature range from ambient to 400°C. Heating rates are variable between 0.5°C per minute and 10°C per minute. The apparatus supports up to seven temperatures per capillary tube, with three programmable methods available for repeated use.

Configuration Options
