Supported Applications
The Dwyer A-286 Magnehelic® Gage Panel Mount Flange is a mounting accessory designed for use with any Dwyer Instruments, Inc. gage that has a 4-1/2" (115 mm) diameter housing. The flange secures the gage behind its bezel using three set screws and enables the assembly to be mounted directly to a surface or panel.

The A-286 is constructed from a robust plastic composite material with an overall weight of 2.3 oz (65 g). As a mounting accessory, it does not possess measurement ranges, accuracy classes, or electrical specifications; its performance is defined by mechanical fit and installation parameters.

The series consists of the single model A-286. The flange includes pre-installed hardware to facilitate immediate panel mounting:

Key Product Differences
The A-286 is a single-model series without configurable options or alternative materials. Installation requires specific attention to set screw torque and cut-out dimensions:
- Set Screw Adjustment: To properly secure the flange to the gage, 1 to 1.5 full revolutions of each set screw are required. Alternating between the three set screws (turning each 1/4 to 1/2 turns at a time) ensures even tightness and prevents bowing.
- Panel Cut-Out: The diameter hole size for the panel cut-out depends on the tightness of the set screws and is typically between 5 1/16" – 5 1/8". The included template should be used to locate the proper size diameter cut-out relative to the three mounting screw locations.
- Dimensions: Flange outside diameter is 4-3/4" [120.65] with a bolt circle of 5-17/32 [140.49]. Mounting holes are Ø11/32 [8.73] x 82° countersink.
