Supported Applications

The FCH-FGC3 Series are compact convection fan heaters offering a high power-to-size ratio in a lightweight, easy-to-fit package. Using a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) element with an independent fan circuit to aid climate cooling, they deliver three power settings for flexible enclosure climate control.

Typical applications include ATMs, ticket machines, parking ticket terminals, access systems, fuel dispensers, energy ports, building-safety systems, building-management systems, and landscaping systems. Each heater ships complete with an operator's manual and carries CE, UL, cUL, and CSA approvals.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The heaters provide nominal power of 200/300/400 W (rated at 10°C) across three selectable settings. The operating temperature range is -10 to 70 °C and the storage temperature range is -40 to 70 °C. Fan lifetime (MTTF at 30°C) is 329,447 hours.

The unit weighs 275 g, plus 35 g for the bracket. It has a cross section of 71 x 70 mm and a length of 96.5 mm, with a 240 mm lead terminated with a DIN clip. Ingress rating is IP20 (EN60529) and the unit is Electrical Protection Class II.

Configuration Options

The series comprises two models that share the same PTC heating platform, 200/300/400 W power settings, mechanical dimensions, temperature ratings, and IP20 protection, differing only in electrical supply and fan output.

The FCH-FGC3111 is the 230 Vac model with an approximate fan volumetric flow of 10 m³/h. The FCH-FGC3116 is the 115 Vac model with an approximate fan volumetric flow of 13 m³/h. Both use the same 240 mm lead with DIN clip and the same 71 x 70 mm cross section.
