Operating Conditions & Performance

The series delivers high accuracy with an overall performance specification of ±1.0% FSO linearity, hysteresis, repeatability combined. Measurement capabilities span two distinct capacity ranges:

  • Standard (lb) models: 0-25 lb to 0-300 lb
  • Metric (N) models: 0-100 N to 0-500 N

Performance is maintained across an operating temperature range of -54 to 121°C (-65 to 250°F), with a compensated temperature range of 16 to 71°C (60 to 160°F). Thermal effects are specified as 0.018% FSO/°C for both Zero and Span.

Mechanical limits include a safe overload rating of 150% of capacity and an ultimate overload limit of 300% of capacity. The units feature an IP54 protection class and are constructed entirely from stainless steel for durability in harsh conditions.

Configuration Options

The LC201/LCM201 Series offers configurable options across standard imperial capacities, metric capacities, and rod end thread types. All models include a 5-point NIST traceable calibration (in tension: 0%, 50%, 100%, 50%, 0%) and come complete with shunt data.

Capacity & Model Families

  • LC201 Series (Standard): Available in capacities of 25 lb, 50 lb, 75 lb, 100 lb, and 300 lb.
  • LCM201 Series (Metric): Available in capacities of 100 N, 200 N, 300 N, and 500 N.

Mechanical & Electrical Configuration

  • Housing Dimensions: Overall diameter is 19 mm (0.75"); overall height is 19.8 mm (0.78") with mounting studs of 9.9 mm (0.39").
  • Rod Ends: LC201 models feature 1/4-28 UNF, TYP; LCM201 models feature M6 x 1.00, TYP.
  • Electrical Connection: Includes a 1.5 m (5') 4-conductor shielded cable with compensation board.
  • Wiring Code: GREEN (+OUTPUT), WHITE (-OUTPUT), RED (+INPUT), BLACK (-INPUT).

The primary distinction between series variants lies in the capacity units and corresponding thread specifications. The LC201 models are designated for imperial capacities (lb) and utilize 1/4-28 UNF rod ends, while the LCM201 models serve metric applications (N) with M6 x 1.00 rod ends.

All variants share identical electrical characteristics, including input/output resistance values, excitation requirements, and thermal performance parameters. The series is compatible with DP41-S and DP25B-S meters as listed in the specification tables for both standard and metric configurations.
