Supported Applications
The ACI aSENSE GH series is a CO₂ and temperature transmitter designed for monitoring carbon dioxide levels in areas with elevated concentrations, specifically greenhouses. The product overview identifies additional applications including grow houses, breweries, indoor agriculture, mushroom farms, and horticultural settings.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series utilizes non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology with Eternal Quality Coating (EQC). Standard measurement ranges are 0 to 2000 ppm for CO₂ and -4° to 140°F (-20° to 50°C) for temperature. Extended CO₂ ranges of 2000 to 10,000 ppm are available via factory set or programming cable.
Performance specifications include an accuracy of ±30 ppm ±3% of reading for standard CO₂ measurements and ±1.8°F (1°C) for temperature. Extended range accuracy is listed as +/- 30 ppm and +/- 5% of reading. The relay deadband/hysteresis is factory set to 100 ppm, with a trip point at 1000 ppm.
Operating conditions require an ambient temperature between 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C) and relative humidity of 0 to 85% RH non-condensing. The unit features an IP65 enclosure rating with a flammability rating of UL94V-0 for both the PC & ABS blend box and Makrolon® 6555 plastic cover.

Configuration Options
The aSENSE GH series supports configurable outputs, housing options, and communication interfaces to meet specific installation needs:
- Outputs: Out 1 provides CO₂ data (0/2-10V or 0/4-20 mA); Out 2 provides temperature data (0/2-10V or 0/4-20 mA, covering 32° to 122°F / 0° to 50°C). Out 3 is a Normally Open relay rated at 1A @ 50 VAC / 24 VDC.
- Display: A 4-digit, 7-segment LCD displays ppm and °F. Status LED indicators include Yellow for Maintenance Support and Red for Closed Relay.
- Housing & Protection: The unit features a conformally coated PCB and filter-equipped housing to protect against dust and high humidity. Electrical connections use 0.00232 in² (1.5 mm²) screw terminals with PTC fuse protection on signal return M.
- Communication Options: An optional Modbus RS485 communication board is available for data integration.
