Supported Applications
The Omega WSB-8000 series consists of benchtop electronic weighing scales designed for classroom or laboratory use. These portable table top scales feature a large stainless steel tray and are intended for stable surface applications where leveling is required.
Operating Conditions & Performance
The series offers four distinct capacity ranges with corresponding resolution values:
- WSB-8015: 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) capacity, 0.1 g (0.004 oz) division
- WSB-8030: 3 kg (6.6 lb) capacity, 0.2 g (0.007 oz) division
- WSB-8060: 6 kg (13.2 lb) capacity, 0.5 g (0.017 oz) division
- WSB-8150: 15 kg (33 lb) capacity, 1 g (0.035 oz) division
The scales feature a 6-digit LCD display with backlight and include overload protection for the load cell. Power is supplied by an internal rechargeable battery rated at 6 Vdc/4.5 A or via an included 110 Vac power cord. Battery life exceeds 150 hours when fully charged.
