Supported Applications
The Omega FL-7000A Series (including the FL-7100 and FL-7300 models) provides economical, accurate flowrate indication for oil and water. These general-purpose in-line variable area flowmeters utilize a spring-and-piston assembly designed to be immune to changes in viscosity. The series is engineered for use with clear and opaque fluids.

Operating Conditions & Performance
The FL-7100 and FL-7300 series operate under high-pressure conditions up to a maximum of 241.3 bar (3500 psig). Standard units are rated for process temperatures up to 116°C (240°F), with an optional configuration available for operation at 204°C (400°F) at a reduced pressure limit of 124 bar (1800 psig).

The spring-and-piston design enables mounting in any position. Pressure drop characteristics vary by medium; for equal water flows, add 10% to the pressure loss values provided for oil at normal temperatures.
Configuration Options
The series offers configurable flow ranges and media-specific models with distinct wetted materials based on the application (oil or water).
- Flow Ranges: Available from 0.8 to 7.5 LPM (0.2 to 2 GPM) up to 11 to 114 LPM (3.0 to 30 GPM), depending on the specific model and medium.
- Process Connections: Standard connection is ¼ FNPT with vertical connectors for in-line mounting. Units configured with BSPP threads require adding the suffix “-BSPP” to the model number at no additional charge.
- Temperature Options: The standard rating covers up to 116°C (240°F). For high-temperature service up to 204°C (400°F), add the suffix “-H” to the model number for an additional cost.
