Supported Applications

The Omega DPG1100 series comprises digital pressure gauges designed for measuring pressure and vacuum. The product overview identifies two primary model families: the DPG1100AD Series, featuring a standard display, and the DPG1100ADBL Series, which includes red LED backlighting that activates whenever the gauge is powered on.

Operating Conditions & Performance

The DPG1100 series operates within an ambient temperature range of -4 to 185°F (-20 to 85°C). For storage, units are rated for temperatures from -40 to 203°F (-40 to 95°C). Performance specifications indicate a compensated temperature range of 32 to 158°F (0 to 70°C), with typical stability defined as ±1% FS for offset and span. For the specific 3 psi and 5 psi ranges, this stability is noted as ±2% FS within the same temperature band.

Accuracy across the series is specified as ±0.25% of full scale or better, plus/minus one least significant digit. Hysteresis and repeatability are both rated at ±1 least significant digit. The display updates nominally 3 times per second on a 3½ digit LCD with ¼" digit height.

Power requirements support any AC source of 8 to 24 VAC (50/60 Hz) or any DC source of 9 to 32 VDC. The DPG1100AD models draw approximately 5 mA, while the backlit ADBL variants consume approximately 80 mA.

Configuration Options

The series offers a broad envelope of measurement ranges and configurations:

• Ranges & Resolution: Available options include -30.0 inHg vac to 15.0 psig, -30.0 inHg vac to 100.0 psig, 30.0 inHg vacuum with ±15.00 psig, and discrete positive ranges of 3.00, 5.00, 15.00, 30.0, 100.0, and 199.9 psig. Higher pressure options include 300, 500, and 1000 psig.
• Absolute Reference: Specific models offer absolute reference ranges of 15.00 and 100.0 psia.
• Units: The gauge supports most engineering units including kPa, atm, bar, mbar, inHg, mmHg, inH₂O, ftH₂O, torr, kg/cm², cmH₂O, and oz/in².

The enclosure is rated NEMA 4X with a UV stabilized polycarbonate/ABS case in light gray. A clear polycarbonate window protects the display, and the rear cover features six captive stainless steel screws for gasketed sealing. The process connection is standardized as ¼" NPT male.

Wetted parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel. Overpressure ratings vary by sensor: metric ranges using a 3000 psig sensor support up to 5000 psig, while those with a 5000 psig sensor support up to 7500 psig; all other configurations list an overpressure limit of 2x rated pressure minimum. The burst pressure is defined as 4x rated pressure minimum or 10,000 psi, whichever is less.

Calibration controls are front-accessible via potentiometers for non-interactive zero and span adjustments (±10% range). A single front button powers the gauge on or off. An optional Power Supply Kit DPG1100-PS provides a UL and CSA listed 115 VAC wall-mount supply with U.S.-style plug, outputting 12 VDC at 200 mA.

Key Product Differences

The series distinguishes between the AD models (standard display) and ADBL models (backlit red LED). Model suffixes in part numbers indicate specific range configurations, such as "-05G" for 5 psig or "-1KG" for kilogram-force per square centimeter ranges. The series includes variants with absolute pressure sensing capabilities.
