All OMEGA soil test kits measure the proportion of nutrients available to plants. Since extraction is not complete, the amount measured is relative and depends on the extraction procedure. Pounds per acre represents the number of pounds of soil in one acre to a depth of 6 to 7 inches, or 2,000,000 lb. In addition to the combined kits for agricultural soils and turf, a selection of single-parameter test kits is available for soil nutrients that may be of particular interest or concern to the grower.
